By accessing and using FireStartr ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

FireStartr is a mentorship platform that connects students (mentees) with experienced professionals (mentors) from top technology companies. The Service facilitates connections, scheduling, and communication between mentees and mentors.

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account:

• Mentees must register using a verified .edu email address
• Mentors must register using a verified company email address from our approved list
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share inappropriate or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

The mentorship relationships facilitated through FireStartr are informal and advisory in nature. FireStartr does not guarantee any specific outcomes from mentorship sessions. All advice and guidance provided through the platform is for informational purposes only.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms of Service or inappropriate conduct.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any content, information, or advice obtained through the Service.

FireStartr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
